Grammar

bulletHow to Use Parts of Speech: Grades 6-8 covers all eight parts of speech.  Each unit begins with an introduction to one of the parts of speech.  The introduction works well as a mini-lesson.  Practice activities require students to identify parts of speech and utilize them in their own writing.  This source will also work well to refresh students' memories.
bulletHow to Use Parts of Speech: Grades 1-3 is one I am including because I have the one above and like it.
bulletNoun Hounds and Other Great Grammar Games provides fun activities for learning the much dreaded grammar.
bulletFun with Grammar provides activities that do not need much preparation.  The activities are great for substitutes and sponge activities.
bulletGrammar Puzzles & Games Kids Can't Resist contains reproducible activities such as crossword puzzles, codes, and mazes.  Most of them are self-checking.
bulletGrammar Games is full of motivating activities that will help students remember grammar while they are having fun.
bulletGrammar Grabbers contains 203 activities and games that require little or no preparation.
bulletGetting to Grips with Grammar (First Guide) contains simple descriptions and examples of the parts of speech, punctuation, and sentences.  It is in a picture book format, which is sure to get the attention of young students.
