Definition: A biography is a nonfiction (true) account of someone's life.  It is written by someone other than the subject of the biography.

Picture Book Biographies

Picture books work very well for introducing genre to or reviewing a genre with students, even older students.  They also work well for mini-lessons.  Above you will find a picture book lesson to try.  If you don't have access to the book, try altering the lesson to a book on the list below to which you do have access.
