Directed Reading - Thinking Activity

 

What is a directed reading - thinking activity?  Students read a predetermined section of reading and make predictions. As the students continue reading to the next predetermined stopping point, they confirm or adjust their predictions.  The process continues until the entire reading selection is completed.
