CORNELL NOTE-TAKING OR COLUMN NOTES

What is Cornell Note-Taking?  The students draw a line down their paper to divide it into two sections.  The first section should be 1/3 of the total width, and the second section should be 2/3 of the total width.  The first section is meant for main ideas while the second section is meant for details to support those main ideas. The second section can be folded over to cover it, and the student now has a study tool.
